How does Arcade Affiliate work?
We are an arcade banner exchange but also have partner sites that we pay for incoming only traffic.
Members place a banner on their site inroder to gain credits which will get them traffic back from other arcade sites.
There are a few ways you can participate.
First you can just upload a banner and pay for impressions/clicks of that banner.
Second is that you upload a banner and place our exchange code on your website.
The exchange code will randomly display a banner size on your website of our members that have credits available.
Each member gains credits on their account when the banner on their site gets clicked.
The exchange code automatically pulls from this pool of credits.
What is an exchange ratio?
You will receive 9 clicks of your banner for every 10 clicks of a banner on your website.
What does CPM mean?
CPM is a term used to describe Cost Per Thousand. exp. $1 CPM means $1 for every 1000 views of your banner.
What does CTR mean?
CTR or Click Through Ratio is the percentage of clicks received in comparisson to how many times a banner is displayed. If a banner is displayed 1000 times and gets clicked 30 times that would be a CTR of 3%.
When will I receive my bonus credits?
To receive your total of 10,000 banner impressions you must display the corresponding banner size atleast 100 times on your site.
For example if you want the 5000 impressions for the 100x100 ad. Our banner code for the 100x100 banner size must be shown atleast 100 times on your site first.
Once our system recognises that you have had the 100 pageviews on your site it will automatically release the bonus credits to your account. (Checked nightly at Midnight.)
Why is there a difference between what my stats and your stats show?
There are many different things that can cause a difference between our stats and your web stats and even differences between different web stats programs.
Things like firewalls and security programs, shared IP's for schools and workplaces can all potentially be problems for stats programs. Also do not expect all traffic to come from arcadeaffiliate.com URL. Most web stats will show only partial traffic from our URL and the rest will show the URL of the site the user clicked your ad on.

That's right, we actually pay to get you quality ad space on well known sites.
As far as we know, we were the first free banner exchange that has paid to get it's users ad space.
How does this work?
We pay large sites to place our code on their site. This is the same code that you place on your site that shows everyones banner. They are given a special account so they only send traffic but don't receive any.
This gives you an opportunity to have your ad on sites that you otherwise couldn't afford to be on.
What do we get out of it?
We get the satisfaction of knowing we're offering a great service for one. As a by product of all that traffic we also get a surplus of traffic that we can offer in bulk at great prices and as bonuses to our members.
With our 10:9 exchange ratio we would not have much inventory otherwise.

We have a few requirements you should be aware of before contacting us.
1. Your site must have more than 25,000 unique visitors a month.
2. Your site must not have any adult content or link to any.
3. Arcade sites are very much preffered but we may consider other media related sites.
4. Generally we will want to see the traffic you can send for a week if not more. It's a good idea to signup as a regular exchange site first then contact us when you feel there's enough stats in your account.
